Heat-pressing instructions

  1. 1

    Pre-press the garment

Pre-press the blank for 5–8 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles, then let it cool for a moment.

  2. 2

    Position the transfer

Place the DTF transfer film with the printed (ink) side down on the garment, exactly where you want the design.

  3. 3

    Press

Press at roughly 300–315°F (150–160°C) for 12–15 seconds with medium-firm pressure. (⚠️ confirm exact settings with our team.)

  4. 4

    Cold or hot peel

Let the film cool completely, then peel the carrier sheet slowly (cold peel). Some films allow a hot peel — check the instructions included with your order.

  5. 5

    Final press

Cover with parchment or a Teflon sheet and press again for 8–10 seconds to lock the design and improve durability and wash resistance.

Settings are general guidance — exact temperature and time can vary by film. Contact us if you need confirmed settings for your order.

Care instructions

  • Wait before first wash

Wait at least 24 hours after pressing before the first wash to let the adhesive fully cure.

  • Wash inside out, cold

Turn the garment inside out and wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener.

  • Dry low or air dry

Tumble dry on low or hang to air dry. High heat over time can shorten the life of the print.

  • Don't iron the print

Never iron directly on the design. If needed, iron inside out or place a cloth over the print.
